Standard Cord
This color coordinated, low profile standard headrail system lifts and lowers the shade to any desired position using an easy to use cord lock system. Shades with this operating system use a ladder cord shroud which links to the draw cords on the back of the fabric.
Top Down Bottom Up
Our popular Top Down Bottom Up feature allows the shade to be both lifted from the bottom and lowered from the top. This is an ideal choice for bedrooms and bathrooms because light can be allowed in at the top of the window without compromising privacy at the bottom. Top Down/Bottom Up shades have a cord lock mechanism that keeps the shade at the desired height.
Top Down
An ideal choice for bedrooms and bathrooms, our Top Down operating system allows the shade to be lowered from the top rather than lifted from the bottom. This enhances privacy because light is allowed in at the top of the window without compromising privacy. For added convenience, Top Down shades have a cord lock mechanism that keeps the shade at the desired height.
Cordless
With our optional cordless system, the Roman Shade is lifted and lowered using either a clear plastic wand or handle that is attached to the bottom of the shade. The length of the tail determines whether a wand or handle is used. Please note: The maximum size of a Roman Shade with a cordless operating system is 72” x 86”. Motorized
For care-free operation with the touch of a button, our Roman Shades can be ordered with a motorized headrail that lifts and lowers the shades with a single or five channel portable remote control or wall unit. This feature is ideal for operating shades on hard to reach windows, and for operating several shades at once with the touch of a button. Roman Shades can even be programmed to automatically open and close at specific times of the day and night! In addition, the elimination of lift cords is also safer for children and pets.
Continuous Cord Loop
Our Continuous Cord Loop, or “CCL”, is a color-coded, low profile standard headrail system that lifts and lowers the shade to any desired position using an easy to use cord lock system. Shades with this operating system use a ladder cord shroud which links to the draw cords on the back of the fabric. This design meets safety guidelines intended to reduce the likelihood of children and pets pulling out and becoming entangled to exposed cords on the back of the shade.
Cordless Top Down Bottom Up
This combines the convenience of a cordless shade with Top Down Bottom Up. This feature allows the shade to be lifted from the bottom and lowered from the top. Two handles attached to the mid rail and bottom rail make for easy operation. This eliminates the pull cords making it a safer option for children and pets.
Flat Fold
The fabric on Flat Roman Shades lies flat when lowered, and folds up neatly at the top of the window when fully raised to reveal a decorative valance look. Fold lines are spaced at 6” intervals.
